This week we are joined by artist Michael Brown from his studio in Decatur, GA. We discuss making work during an isolating pandemic, having the greatest impact with minimal materials, and confronting a post-fact culture. We examine the non-linear path of success, contending with Instagram aesthetics and values, and the difficult relationship between artists and the world. We introduce our brand of lightning round questions and Michael explains the choreography of the marching band triangle.
